Finding My 'Style'

I've found that I'm actually quite a bit better at writing than I am with drawing, but I can't deny myself a good sit-down session with my wacom graphic tablet.  I look at my own drawings, and I'm learning quite a bit just from what I'm teaching myself but sadly, it feels as though it's just not enough for me.  It is always much more beneficial to learn from another person with the knowledge that you wish to have, in order to apply it to your own personal tastes. That's really what I wish to do - take what I already have, which is raw ability, and sculpt it into something a bit more...practiced.  Anyone know of any good tutorials out there?
